Attention! There are planned disruptions on the public transportation network on Sunday between 15:30 and 20:00, localised around the Place Bellecour. If you are planning to take the bus C20 from Bellecour Le Viste, you will have to go to Perrache to take it instead. If you are coming from the metro line A, just stay on the line for another 2 stops.

Below we describe how to reach the hotel from the airport and from the train stations using public transportation. You can find details about public transport on the TCL website.

By plane

If you arrive at Lyon airport Saint-Exupéry (LYS), you can take the shuttle tram Rhône-Express that will take you directly from the airport to the city center. To reach the shuttle, simply follow the signs that will take you through a footbridge located between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, in direction of the train station. You need to cross through the train station and exit on the other side. The access to the shuttle in on the right side as you get out of the station. A ticket costs €15.20 for a single, and €26.70 for a return, if you buy your ticket online. There are extra fees if you buy your ticket at the station.

Get off the shuttle at the stop Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie. There, you can catch the metro line  M|A  to Bellecour (direction Perrache, but La Soie is the end of the line). You can buy tickets from machines located in the metro station. A single ticket costs €1.90 and is valid for 1h, or you can buy 10 tickets for 18€ is you are travelling in group.

After you got off at Bellecour you need to locate the bus stop Bellecour Le Viste in the Northeast corner of the Bellecour square, where you can catch the bus .

Bellecour Le Viste is the last stop, so you cannot get the direction wrong. The bus runs about every 10 min, and the timetables can be found here. Note that you can also use the C20E.

After about 15 min, you then need to get off the bus at the stop La Plaine and walk for 7 min to the hotel.

Walk to St Joseph

Using a taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost you between €60 and €90.

By train

Attention! There are planned disruptions on the public transportation network on Sunday between 15:30 and 20:00, localised around the Place Bellecour. If you are planning to take the bus C20 from Bellecour Le Viste, you will have to go to Perrache to take it instead. If you are coming from the metro line A, just stay on the line for another 2 stops.

If you arrive at the Part-Dieu station, take the metro line B towards Gare d'Oullins and change at Saxe - Gambetta to take metro line D towards Gare de Vaise. You then get off at Bellecour and take the bus C20 from Bellecour Le Viste (see above).

If you arrive at the Perrache station, take the metro line A towards Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie and get off at Bellecour where you can follow the same instructions as above.

If you take a taxi from one of the train stations, the ride should cost you around €30.
